This category is only applicable for applicants, who need to obtain a Schengen Visa (short term stay of up to 90 days, e.g. business, family visit, NO tourism) or an Airport Transit Visa.

Groups of five or more applicants are not eligble and have to book an appointment in a different category (please go back to the category overview!)

To book an appointment you need your passport and an email address.

You will receive a booking confirmation via email once you successfully booked an appointment. Please bring a printout of your booking confirmation on the day of your appointment.

On the day of your appointment the Embassy will crosscheck the information you provided on the appointment booking system (name and passport number) with your passport. You will not be allowed to hand in your application if the information does not match.

You can submit your visa application up to 6 months before your intended departure. Processing time for Schengen Visa applications at the German Embassy Accra is 14 days.
