On the next page you will be able to register for the waiting list for an appointment to apply for a student for a stay for longer than 90 days.

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Accra is only responsible for applicants who are permanent residents in GHANA, LIBERIA and SIERRA LEONE. The Embassy will NOT accept visa applications of persons who cannot provide evidence that their habitual abode (permanent residence of at least six months) is in one of the aforementioned countries.

After successful registration, you will shortly receive a confirmation email regarding your booking. Please check their receipt, if necessary, also in the spam / junk folder.

The notification with the exact dates of the appointment is currently sent out about 4 weeks in advance. Make absolutely sure that your e-mail address given at registration is valid until the date of the appointment. If you change your e-mail address after registration, you will unfortunately have to cancel your existing registration and re-register.

Information for Scholarship Holders and Researchers:

Please register accompanying family members in this category as well. All children applying for a visa (under the age of 18) are required to be registered within this waiting list, too. No exceptions.

It is very important to enter all your data correctly and without spelling mistakes, as admission to the visa office will only be granted with matching documents provided. Be sure to enter your e-mail address without mistakes, otherwise you will not receive a confirmation e-mail about the registration and subsequently no notification about the appointment!

Kindly understand that inquiries about your registration cannot be answered due to the heavy workload. All resources are needed to reduce wait times.
