This category is only applicable for visa applicants, who intend to stay for more than 90 days in one of the following categories:

- Employment

- Opportunity Card

- Vocational Training / Internship

- family members of DAAD scholars/holders of Blue Card EU (if they are applying together with the spouse/parent or within 6 months after the spouses'/parents' application)

- long-term medical treatment

 

The Embassy of the Federal Republic of Germany in Accra is only responsible for applicants who are permanent residents in GHANA, LIBERIA and SIERRA LEONE. The Embassy will NOT accept visa applications of persons who cannot provide evidence that their habitual abode (permanent residence of at least six months) is in one of the aforementioned countries.

 

To book an appointment you will need your passport and an email address.

 

You will receive a booking confirmation via email once you have successfully booked an appointment. Please bring a printout of your booking confirmation on the day of your appointment.

On the day of your appointment the Embassy will crosscheck the information you provided on the appointment booking system (name and passport number) with your passport. You will not be allowed to hand in your application if the information does not match.
