Appointment booking only by persons with habitual residence in Ethiopia, Djibouti or Sudan but also if only the reference person has been granted refugee status in the Federal Republic of Germany or the applicants in Ethiopia are registered as refugees with ARRA/UNHCR.

Applicants for reunificaion with a family member being awarded subsidiary protection status in Germany must not register on this waiting list / in Category 2. This is also applicable for Ethiopian nationals! Applicants for reunificaion with a family member being awarded subsidiary protection status in Germany must register on the waiting list for an appointment to apply for a visa for family reunion with a holder of subsidiary protection status in Germany

Dear Sir or Madam,

On the following pages you can book an appointment to apply for a family reunion visa for a stay exceeding 90 days.

To book an appointment you need:

• personal data (including passport number)
• a valid e-mail address, which will remain valid up to and including the date of the appointment and to which you have personal access

1. For visa applications, please use the VIDEX application form in order to speed up the application process and to reduce your waiting time.
2. Please enter all data exactly as in the passport and in Latin letters.
3. You may book an appointment for one reason only.
4. Please make sure that you enter your e-mail address correctly, otherwise you will not receive an appointment confirmation! If necessary, check whether this can be found in your spam/junk folder.
5. For each adult family member, a separate appointment has to be booked. Group bookings are only possible for accompanying, minor children.  In these cases, only the number of visitors must be specified. If such a booking is made contrary to the aforementioned instruction, applicants will be rejected and a new appointment has to be booked.
