Please make an appointment here if you wish to submit a new application in citizenship matters. This includes

• applications for naturalization or restoration of German citizenship
• confirmation of German citizenship
• renouncing German citizenship.
• acquisition of German citizenship through declaration

Several members of the same family may submit their applications during the same appointment.

If you want to collect a certificate of naturalization or a certificate of citizenship you may also book an appointment here if you don't want to apply for a passport at the same time.

Please note that appointments in this category cannot be used to submit applications for German passports or registering the birth of a child born abroad.
