If you are applying for a passport for the first time, please enter the registration number of the birth certificate, or the drivers license Number or the greencard number in the "Passport number" field.

Applications for German identity cards are also possible at the Consulate General. The information and necessary documents are the same as for passport applications. For an application for a German identity card please follow the passport information on our website. Please note that you need a separate appointment to apply for a German identity card; ID-card applications will not be accepted in connection with a passport application within one appointment slot.

 

Unless it is not a first passport application, applicants from North and South Carolina can also apply for a passport at the Honorary Consul in Charlotte. Please make an appointment either by phone (tel. 704 333 5220) or by e-mail charlotte@hk-diplo.de .

 

After successfully booking an appointment you will receive an e-mail to your submitted e-mail-address.
