Welcome to the online appointment system of the German Embassy in Baghdad

Before booking your appointment with our online appointment system, you are kindly requested to read the information provided on our website www.irak.diplo.de concerning visa procedures and requirements.

On our website you can find detailed information regarding the necessary documentation as well as the application forms.

In case you want to apply together with other persons please book one appointment for each person!

Our online appointment system is free of charge and it enables you to choose and book and appointment easily by yourself. The German Embassy does not sell appointments via other service providers and we highly recommend questioning any offer made by a third party to you in this regard.

It is not possible to book earlier appointments than the ones shown to you in the system. At the moment you can book appointments up to 6 weeks in advance. Please present yourself at time approx. 15 minutes before your chosen time slot at the entrance of the German Embassy and bring along your complete documentation and the e-mail confirmation of your appointment. In case you show up late, entrance to the German Embassy will be denied.

Please enter all your personal data in our appointment system as shown in your passport (Latin script, no Arabic letters). Your have to put a valid e-mail address in order to receive the confirmation of your appointment by e-mail.

To apply for a visa, you are requested to present yourself in person at the visa section of the German Embassy Baghdad. Representation by a third person is not possible.

Please double-check the e-mail address you enter in our online appointment system. You are required to present this e-mail at the entrance of the visa section and you need it in case you want to cancel your appointment. In case you enter an invalid e-mail address, you will be blocked two weeks before being able to book another appointment.
