Please check whether you actually need your signature to be certified by the embassy. Certifications can generally also be carried out by a Swiss notary or a Swiss official certification authority (with apostille). If a German court or German authority requires your signature to be certified by the German embassy, this is only possible with an appointment.

You can book an appointment here for a signature certification (only) for the following documents:

• Declaration of renunciation of inheritance
• Approval declaration (real estate matters)
• Application for a certificate of marital status
• Identity confirmation for D-Trust
  
  
• In exceptional cases:
  Applications for post-certification of birth or marriage without a name declaration (only after prior clarification with the embassy)
