Before booking an appointment, please inform yourself about the application procedure for visa at www.budapest.diplo.de/visa and check whether you are in possesion of all required original documents. Incomplete applications will be rejected and you will need to book a new appointment.

Only one visa application per person can be processed per appointment. If you wish to apply together with your partner or children, please note that several dates must be booked.

We can only accept your application if you are going to apply for a working-holiday visa. All other applicants have to book in the other category.

Please book only one appointment (not several) for yourself and only book the appointment if you expect to be able to attend. If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it. This will help us to plan our appointments so that we can offer all aplicants appointments as soon as possible.

Depending on seasonally high demands (e.g. before or during holiday season or before public holidays), appointments may already be booked out. In order to be able to start your travel on time, it is therefore best to apply for your visa well in advance.

Booked appointments must be confirmed within 7 days. Otherwise they will be deleted. Please also note that if you enter a wrong passport number or a wrong date of birth or telephone number you will not be admitted on the day of the appointment to apply for the visa.

Kindly come to the Embassy at least 10 minutes before the beginning of your appointed time-slot and bring the already filled in application forms and all necessary documents mentioned on our web-site in the original and with two copies. If you arrive later than 15 minutes after the beginning of your appointed time or without filled in application forms or documentation, you won't be admitted and have to get a new appointment.

On the following page, after filling in a captcha, you will find the available appointments for the next 4 weeks. If you do not see any free appointments, all appointments are fully booked. This is not a technical error of the appointment system. Please check the system again on a daily basis. New appointments are offered every working day. Cancellation of already booked appointments can also make further appointments available at short notice.
