To book an appointment, you will need:

• personal data (including passport number)
• a valid email address and phone number that remains active up until and including the day of the appointment and which you personally can access

Please note that written dates for appointments are given in German format DD/MM/YY.

1. Please enter all information exactly as shown in your passport and use the Latin alphabet.

2. Please schedule a separate appointment for each applicant.

3. You may book an appointment for only one reason for travel.

Visa applications are only accepted if produced with the official web-based visa-application form VIDEX. Do not use any forms from third-party websites! 

You can only book this appointment if you would like to apply for a visa that is not already available in the Consular Services Portal.
You can apply for a visa via the Consular Services Portal here.

U.S. citizens can also enter and remain in Germany for a stay that exceeds 90 days. The required residence permit may be obtained in Germany.
