Starting October 1^st, 2024, applicants for visas for the purpose of taking up employment must submit their application online. Starting January 2025 the same applies to applications for the purpose of family reunion, study, language course as well as training. After a subsequent preliminary check, an appointment booking will be opened for fingerprinting, presentation of original documents and payment of the visa fees.

You can also use the Consular Services portal to apply for visas on the basis of personnel exchange (Section 10 Residence Act), ICT or Section 26 Residence Act. Please select the category “Taking up employment with professional experience”. Instead of the document “Proof of qualified professional experience”, you can alternatively provide a letter from your employer or your CV.
