Please note that you can only book an appointment and apply under this category if you already obtained the preliminary approval (“Vorabzustimmung”) of the Aliens’ Authority.

If you do not fulfill this requirement yet, you cannot book your appointment under this category. Please note that the improper use of the booking system will lead to the cancellation of your appointment. 

If you want to apply as a qualified professional without the preliminary approval ("Vorabzustimmung") you have to book  your appointment under the category "Visum für einen langfristigen Aufenthalt für andere Zwecke (außer Familienzusammenführung, Eheschließung, beschleunigtes Verfahren § 81 a AufenthG, oder Studium) /Long-term visa for any other purpose (not for: family reunion, marriage, fast-track procedure for skilled workers (§ 81a AufenthG) or studies)".

To book an appointment, you will need:

• personal data (including passport number)

• a valid email address that remains active up until and including the day of the appointment and which you personally can access

• the data of your preliminary approval ("Vorabzustimmung"

1. Please enter all information exactly as shown in your passport and use the Latin alphabet.

2. Please schedula a separate appointment for each applicant.

3. You may book an appointment for only one reason for travel.
