On the next page you can register on the waiting list for an appointment to apply for a visa for an au pair stay or for voluntary service/holiday employment.

Please only register if you have already signed a contract with the host family/host organisation/company. This is because contract details must also be provided and must match your documents when you present them. In the event of fraud of any kind or falsification of facts, the visa application will not be accepted but rejected - especially if the data does not match your person!

Once you have successfully registered, you will shortly receive an e-mail confirming your booking. Please check its receipt (possibly also in the spam/junk folder, the setting should therefore not be cancelled immediately).

The notification with the exact dates of the appointment will be sent to you approx. 1-2 weeks before the appointment. Please make absolutely sure that the e-mail address you entered when registering is valid until the date of the appointment.
If you change your e-mail address after registering, you will unfortunately have to cancel your existing entry and re-register.

Due to the high demand, the waiting time for an appointment is currently at least 5 months.

All entries must be made in Latin characters only. It is essential that you enter your data correctly and without errors, as you will only be admitted to the visa centre if your name and passport match exactly. Your passport number must be entered in capital letters and numbers.

Make sure that you enter your e-mail address correctly (e.g. name@domain.com, no www in front of the e-mail address!), otherwise you will not receive a confirmation e-mail about the registration and subsequently no notification about the appointment allocation).

Please understand that enquiries about your registration cannot and will not be answered due to the high workload. Also, no questions about your position in the appointment list/ranking list will be answered.
