Please book an appointment with the Consulate General in Edinburgh only if you live in Scotland or the following counties in Northern England: Cleveland and Redcar, Cumbria, Darlington, Durham, Hartlepool, Middlesbrough, Northumberland, Stockton on Tees, Tyne and Wear (Tyneside) and North Yorkshire excluding Selby and York.

Please only book appointments for name declarations, birth announcements, marriage registrations and citizenship matters if you have been requested to do so by the Consulate General in Edinburgh or if your previous appointment has been cancelled.

One appointment slot must be booked for each person. Exceptions are made for declarations of name, birth or marriage registrations and nationality matters: here, one slot is sufficient for one family.

Please provide complete and correct information when booking an appointment; in particular make sure you enter a valid e-mail address.
Bring the required forms, documents, copies and - if applicable - the required fees to your appointment.

Please note that no other appointments than those shown here can be made by e-mail or telephone.

Should you be more than five minutes late for your confirmed appointment, your application will not be accepted and you will have to book a new appointment.
