Attention: Please read the following instructions carefully. In case of any mistake your registration could be invalid.

I) Notice regarding this appointment list

The appointment you are about to book will enable you only to apply for a visa for a stay of more than three months in Germany for family reunion with a further family member (e.g. only adult children, step children, siblings, uncles, etc.), especially not with a spouse, minor child or fiancé.

Facilitated family reunification is only intended for members of the core family, meaning spouses and minor children of the applicant, over whom the parent living in Germany typically has sole custody. Other family members or relatives can only apply for family reunification under the provisions of Section 36 (2) of the Residence Act. According to this regulation, in addition to proof of secured living expenses for the stay in Germany, including sufficient health insurance coverage, a justification is required to demonstrate that the specific wish for reunification constitutes an exceptional hardship for the applicant themselves or their relative living in Germany. Fleeing and displacement due to a civil war alone do not constitute exceptional hardship, as this situation affects many people equally. The existence of exceptional hardship must be specifically demonstrated and related to the individual case. Since the application involves fees, please carefully check whether you meet the requirements before scheduling an appointment.

II) Notice regarding the booking procedure

While entering your data, please note the following:

• Do not register yourself aswell in the Appointment list for spouses, minor children and fiancés, otherwise your registration will not be accepted. In this case your registration will be cancelled by the Embassy.
• All data entries must be done in latin letters.
• Your e-mail address must be spelled correctly, otherwise you will not receive your booking confirmation. Please check your spam/junk inbox, too.
• All data must be inserted correctly. Date of birth has to be in the format of DD.MM.YYYY. Syrian passport numbers have to be in the format capital letter (N or P) + 9 numbers, for example: N012345678. Bookings which do not apply to this rule will be cancelled and deleted.
• Each applicant must have a seperate booking.
• Please consider other applicants and book only one appointment. Multiple appointment registrations for the same person will be deleted by the Embassy!
• Please prepare your application file in advance and bring all the necessary documents with you. If you enter incorrect information, your application cannot be accepted.
• Please bring all documents mentioned on the checklist with you for your application. Incomplete applications cannot be accepted. More information on the necessary documents you will find on the website of the Consulate.

You'll be notified about your appointment via email at a later point. Due to the high demand for appointments, the waiting time is very long. Requests will be processed in chronological order.
