On the next page you can register on the waiting list for an appointment to apply for a visa to take up employment as an Au-Pair or Volunteer service.

Please make sure that you enter your data, in particular email address, date of birth and passport number, correctly. Subsequent changes cannot be made. Registrations with an unrealistic date of birth (e.g. 07.08.2023) will be deleted. 

If your passport number changes during the waiting time, pleae bring your old and new passport with you to the interview at the embassy.

After successful registration you will receive a confirmation of your booking within 30 minutes. Please check this receipt thoroughly.

A notification with the exact date of your appointment allocation will be sent to you approximately 4 weeks before your appointment. Make absolutely sure that the email address you provided when registering is correct and functional up until you attend the appointment. Unfortunately, if you change your email address after registering, you will have to cancel your existing entry and register again.

There is no limit to the number of places on the waiting list, this means there is no risk that you will not be able to register (or no longer be able to) at a later date.

Due to high demand the waiting time for an appointment is currently at least a year.

Please only book in this section if you would like to apply for a visa to be an Au Pair or Volunteer. Applicants who have booked an appointment in the wrong category cannot be processed and will have to book a new appointment in the correct category.

Please understand that inquiries about your registration cannot be answered due to the high volume of applicants. All capacities are required to reduce the current waiting time for an application appointment.
