Dear valued visitor,

On this page you may book an appointment for your visa application for business travels, visitor visa or tourism up to 90 days in Germany. 

The visa section of the Consulate General in Hongkong is responsible for your application if your habitual residence is in Hongkong or Macao. Applicants from Macao have the possibility to apply at the Portuguese consulate in Macao as they are allowed to issue Schengenvisa on behalf of Germany. Applicants from other places (e.g. Shenzhen) need to apply at their competent visa section https://china.diplo.de/cn-zh. They cannot apply in Hongkong.

Important information:

Please bear in mind that waiting periods may vary between seasons. If you are planning to travel to Germany in May/June or December/January, please make an appointment as soon as possible.

Applications more than 6 months prior to the first scheduled day of travel cannot be accepted.

Please read all information provided on the website of the consulate general carefully, before booking an appointment. Incomplete applications may have to be rejected or denied.  If any documents are missing you will have to book a new appointment.

In order to book an appointment, your passport details are required.

 

Please note that every applicant must book a separate time slot. For example a family of 5 has to book 5 time slots if they all want to apply for a visa. Families and groups may book different time slots at one day, but will be interviewed within one time frame if possible.
