On the next page, you can register on the waiting list for an appointment to apply for a national visa for the purpose of employment as a seafarer on river cruise ships.

 

The current waiting time between registration on the waiting list and appointment allocation by VFS Global is approximately five months.

 

Important information regarding registration on the waiting list:

• Your details must be entered correctly and without errors, as admission is only possible if the name and passport details exactly and completely match.
• Your passport number must be entered using capital letters and digits, e.g. “C1234567”. You can find the passport number at the top right of the personal data page of your passport. Passport numbers of Indonesian passports generally consist of one letter followed by seven digits.
• Your email address must be entered correctly, otherwise you will not receive a confirmation email for your registration or the subsequent appointment notification. Example: name@domain.com (no “www” before the email address).
• Subsequent changes to incorrectly entered information are not possible. In such cases, you must cancel your registration and submit a new one.
• If the visa section identifies incorrect registrations (e.g. multiple bookings for the same person, invalid passport numbers, etc.), all existing registrations will be deleted.

 

Please note the following instructions regarding the correct entry of your name:

 

If your name consists of three or more name components, for example:

“Reza Rahardian Pratama”

If your name consists of two name components, for example:

If your name consists of only one single name (no defined first and last name), for example:

Please refer to the machine-readable zone (MRZ) of your passport when entering your name. The MRZ can be found at the bottom of the passport page containing the photograph and consists of two lines of letters and numbers.

In the MRZ of the passport, the family name is listed first, followed by the first name(s), separated by the characters “<<”.

 

After successful registration, you will receive the following emails:

Within one hour, a confirmation email containing your reference number. Please check that you have received it (including your spam/junk folder) and review all information you entered once again.

Shortly before the actual appointment, you will receive an email from VFS Global with the date and time of your appointment. Please ensure that the email address you provided during registration remains active until then.

If you change your email address after registration, you must cancel your existing registration and submit a new one.
