On the following pages you can register for an appointment to apply for a short-term-visa for a medical treatment in Germany. This means that you have an appointment with a German doctor.

If you want to visit a sick person in Germany you must apply under the category visitor.

Every applicant requires a separate registration!

All boxes of the registration form have to be filled correctly. Applicants with incorrect, wrong or incomplete information will not be granted access to the visa section.

The Consulate General does not offer appointments through agents, advisors or any other service provider. Do not waste your money and time with such intermediaries. We strongly recommend that you book your appointment yourself.

After your successful registration you will receive two e-mails:

1. Within 120 minutes a confirmation e-mail with your reference number. Please also check your spam e-mails
2. As soon as your appointment is scheduled you will receive an e-mail with the exact date and time of your appointment

Current waiting time to receive an appointment date: up to 3 weeks

The Consulate can offer a joint appointment for one person that is accompanying person. Please add the name of the person in the according field and register this person afterwards in the same category. A second person is not possible.
