Please only book here if you want to apply for a German passport or a national visa (stay more than 90 days). Unfortunately, we cannot process applications for which an appointment was booked in the wrong category. In that case you will have to book a new appointment.

Please enter all information about the applicant in accordance to the information stated in your passport. Make sure that you enter all data completely and, above all, correctly. If you want to apply for a German passport/national visa for several people at the same time, you must book a separate appointment for each person - this also applies to families with children. Admission is only granted to people who have booked an appointment.

German families who would like to arrange a passport appointment for several family members and cannot find any available appointments can contact the Embassy directly using the contact form on the website.

Your entered e-mail address must be valid, because the appointment confirmation will be sent to the e-mail address given upon booking. This e-mail must be printed out and brought with you to the appointment, otherwise the appointment cannot be kept.

Please ensure that your e-mail address remains until you attend the appointment.

It is not possible to correct information or change the e-mail address once your booking has been completed. In this case you would have to cancel the existing booking and make a new booking.

In the appointment overview you can book a free appointment of your choice (the next one or a later one if you wish): You choose a day and a time available. Please understand that appointments cannot be made earlier than those shown here (not even by email or phone).

Incomplete applications cannot be accepted, the application will be rejected free of charge, and a new appointment must be made.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it. This will help us with our scheduling so that we can offer all customers appointments as promptly as possible. Depending on seasonally high demand, appointments may already be fully booked or have to be booked longer in advance.

Please be on time. You may come to the Embassy earlier thank your scheduled appointment, but if you show up for your appointment more than 15 minutes after your appointment slot, you will not be admitted entry to the Embassy and will have to book a new appointment. In this case, a new appointment must be booked and admission will no longer be granted, in the interest of all customers. The embassy asks for your understanding that we cannot take into account the individual arrival times and traffic situation for organizational reasons and reasons of fairness.
