Your or your child's last name has not been determined?
You were born after September 1, 1986 and your parents don't have the same family name?
In any of these cases: Please book an appointment and bring the originals of all the necessary documents with you inclusive of a completed application form according to the information on our website.
Please note that for a name declaration for spouses or an application for a marriage registration both spouses have to be present. For a name declaration for a child or an application for a birth registration, both parents have to be presen.!
You need a certification/notarization?
We offer this service for notarizations of copies and certify your signature on
- powers of attorney
- applications of approval
- applications for a certificate of good conduct
- identity verification for students to open a new blocked account
- a declaration of renouncement of succession
- other documents and declarations that require a signature certification

Important: Following the amendment of the German Money Laundering Act the German missions abroad can no longer notarize signatures or perform identity verification (exception: blocked accounts for students)
