Please book your appointment here only if you want to apply for a passport (biometric passport, children’s passport, temporary passport) or identity card. Applications booked in a wrong category cannot be honoured, and a new appointment will have to be booked.

1. Please enter all information exactly as shown in your passport and use the Latin alphabet.

2. Please schedule a separate appointment for each applicant.

3. Attention: if you apply for your child’s passport for the first time and you do not yet possess a German birth certificate for your child OR if you wish to change your name after having married, kindly book an additional appointment in the category „Registration of birth / marriage“. These appointments are offered on Mondays and Thursdays at 11 a.m.

Please make sure that your email ID is valid. The confirmation will be sent to the email ID mentioned in the booking form. Kindly present the confirmation email on the day of your appointment to be granted access to the consular section’s premises.

Please ensure your email ID remains active until the day of your appointment. Unfortunately, it is not possible to make corrections once the appointment has been booked. In that case, you will have to cancel the appointment and make a new one.

The appointment system will give you the option to book your appointment as per your choice and convenience, either the next one available or at a later date. Please choose date and time (e.g. 10.00 to 10.30 a.m.). We ask for your understanding that no other than the ones shown in the scheduling overview can be arranged, even if inquired by email or telephone.
