Important infomation:

You want to apply for your passport or ID; there have been no changes since last time (e.g. name change).

If you got married and want to change your family name, please contact the Embassy prior to making an appointment (info@ports.diplo.de) or book an appointment in the category "consular service"

If you apply for a first passport for yourself or your child, please contact the Embassy prior to making an appointment (info@ports.diplo.de). We will verify whether additional procedures will be required.

In case that you apply in Port of Spain for the first time and that you lived in Germany before, please remember to bring a certification of the last place of residency that you are not registered anymore ("Abmeldebescheinigung"). It is normally issued free of charge.

Please fill in the applicant's information according to the information in the current passport. The email address has to be valid; you will receive a confirmation email for your appointment. Please bring a print-out to your appointment.

Please choose an available appointment of your choice (the next available or a later one). Please book a day and a time frame (i.e. 9.00 to 9.30 am).

In order to avoid long wait time for yourself and other applicants, please show up at the Embassy on time and inform the receptionist.
