Here you can book your visa appointment for a Working Holiday Visa. You cannot book an appointment here for any other long-term purposes (family reunification, employment, studying etc.)

The Working Holiday-Visa category concerns only citizens of: Argentina, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, Israel and Uruguay.

Citizens from Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Japan and Israael can apply for the necessary residence permit at every German mission abroad that is entitled to issue visas or after entry to Germany at the competent Foreigner Registration in Office.

Citizens from Argentina, Chile and Uruguay can apply for the necessary residence permit at every German mission abroad that is entitled to issue visas.

For a visa application for a Working Holiday-visa it is necessary to book an appointment under the category "Working Holiday Visa". Bookings of an appointment in the other visa category (long-term stay) cannot be accepted and will be cancelled. If you nevertheless book a visa appointment in the wrong visa category we reserve the right to block you from being able to book any further appointments.

Appointments can only be booked maximum 1 week in advance.
