Here you can book an appointment for a national visa (duration of stay in Germany longer than 90 days) for the following purposes of stay:

• Research, doctoral students / PhD-students, individual doctorates, research assistants:

  With hosting agreement OR employment contract of the research institution

  With admission letter from the university OR declaration of acceptance from the doctoral committee OR inclusion in the list of doctoral students

Please take the time to read the following instructions carefully, as your appointment could be cancelled if you do not follow the instructions:

• Please only make an appointment if you are sure that you will be able to keep it.
  请确保只有在您确认可以按时赴约时再进行预约。
  
  
• The e-mail address you enter must be valid and functional. You will receive an e-mail confirming your appointment. Check whether this can be found in your spam/junk folder. You must bring a printout of this email with you when you go to the visa centre, otherwise you will not be admitted.

• A separate appointment must be booked for each applicant (including family members).

• If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it. This will help us to plan your appointment, so that we can offer all customers appointments as promptly as possible.

• Earlier appointments at the Consulate General than suggested are not possible.

• Multiple appointment bookings for the same person are automatically cancelled.

• Incomplete appointment bookings are automatically cancelled

If you now click on ‘continue’ at the bottom right, you can first select a date and then the time that suits you for your appointment. The appointment system only shows free appointments.

All information about the applicant must be entered in Latin letters according to the information in the passport.
