Important note:

Please book your appointment only after clarifying your request with the German Embassy (info@talllinn.diplo.de) to avoid having to return to the embassy due to missing documents.

Please book an appointment in this category only if you have one of the following requests:

- Registration of a child's birth in the German birth register, including a declaration of name (if required)

- Application for a child's first German passport

Incomplete applications cannot be accepted: the application will be rejected free of charge, and a new appointment must be scheduled.

The appointment system allows the embassy to maintain a smooth and orderly flow of visitors. This gives you the advantage of being able to book a suitable appointment and ensures a fixed appointment time at the embassy without long waiting times.

If you are unable to keep your appointment, please cancel it. This helps us with scheduling so that we can offer all clients appointments as soon as possible. Depending on seasonally high demand, appointments may already be fully booked or need to be booked further in advance.

You can easily and quickly book an appointment yourself here. If you prefer, someone you trust can do this for you. Booking an appointment is free of charge. However, you must come to the German Embassy in Tallinn in person (parents, child, children, persons who have the custody over the child, children) for your scheduled appointment.
