IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Appointments can only be booked within a four-week time window. You will therefore only be shown appointments within this period.

These appointments are exclusively for registering a birth and applying for a first passport at the same time.

Please note that other requests cannot be processed within this time window.

Advantage of the combined appointment for passport applications:

Civil status documents only need to be presented once in the original.
The original documents are simply scanned when applying for a passport and then returned directly.
The documents are usually forwarded to the registry office in the original or as a certified copy.

Important:

To apply for a passport, the child must be present in person - regardless of age. In addition, both custodial parents must be present.

Further information:

If no combined appointments are available, you can arrange a separate appointment for the subsequent birth registration and passport application. To ensure a smooth process, the appointments should be booked on the same day. In this case, the appointment for applying for a biometric passport can be scheduled before the appointment for registering the birth abroad.
