For the following consular services please book an appointment here:

Authentication of signature / 署名認証手続 for a

• power of attorney
• authorizations
• declaration of renouncement of succession
• other declarations for use in Germany that require the authentication of a signature 

Please note, that there are no longer authentications of signature needed on applications for a Police Clearance Certificate/Führungszeugnis - the confirmatin of the identity is sufficient. Therefore please book an appointment in the category Consular certificates.

A LIFE CERTIFICATION DOES NOT NEED A AUTHENTICATION OF SIGNATURE - PLEASE READ THE INFORMATION AT OUR WEBPAGE !

For a notarization (application for a certificate of inheritance/"Erbschein", for a probate letter or acknowledgement of paternity etc.) an appointment has to be booked separately since all notarizations require preparation. Please contact the Embassy by email.

Please note, that the Embassy is unable to provide translation services.

If you do not find your concern in the list above or if you do not know in which category to book an appointment, please contact the Embassy for assistence through the contact form.

If you are unable to keep an appointment you have booked please cancel this appointment online immediately. Please be advised that this Embassy reserves the right to deny you further appointments if you do not show for an appointment without cancelling it.
