Appointments for submitting a visa application cannot be booked directly; you must first register to be placed on the waiting list. After you have registered successfully, the Embassy will automatically assign you an appointment date and time, which is dependent on availability. We endeavour to provide appointments
- within a year if it is your intention to work in Germany as a professional driver
- within the next 11 weeks if it is your intention to be employed as a nurse (with semi acceptance)
- within the next 21 weeks in all other cases.
In case of cancellations the waiting time might be shorter.
Click on "New Appointment" if you wish to put your name on our waiting list. To register, you will need your personal details, the details of your passport and Maltese residence permit, and an email address. Please enter all details exactly as they appear on your passport using the Latin alphabet. Please fill out a separate registration for each applicant.
After registering successfully you will receive an email within approx. 30 minutes confirming your registration. Please check that it has been received (if necessary check the spam/junk folder).
The message with the exact dates of the appointment will be sent to you approx. 2 to 3 weeks before the appointment. Please make sure that the email address you provided at the time of registration remains valid until the date of your appointment. If you change your email address after registration, you must cancel your existing registration and re-register.
