Visa applications for the following categories must be submitted online:

-       Visa Blue Card EU

-       Visa Employment for highly skilled worker (with a University degree or vocational training or relevant work experience)

-       Visa Opportunity Card (Chancenkarte)

-       Visa for the recognition of foreign qualifications

-       Visa for study purposes (incl. student application, language course)

-       Visa for training purposes 

-       Family reunion

If you want to apply for one of the above, please do not book an appointment here. The link to the online application platform is available on our website www.wien.diplo.de.

If you want to apply for a visa for a Voluntary Social Year/Federal Voluntary Service or as an Au Pair, please press “Return” and book an appointment in the correct category.

If you want to apply for a Working Holiday Visa (for citizens of Argentina, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Japan, Chile, Israel and Uruguay only), please press “Return” and book an appointment in the correct category.

Visa applications cannot be accepted if the appointment has been booked in the wrong category.
