If you plan to stay in Germany (and other Schengencountries) for up to 90 days or less please read the information about "Schengenvisa"!

Appointment to apply for a national visa (long term - longer than 90 days):

Kindly refer to our website at www.windhuk.diplo.de/visa to check if you need a visa and to get all the necessary information on the documentation you will need for your application.

We ask for your understanding that incomplete applications cannot be accepted. In this case the applicant must book a new appointment!

Please read the information provided thoroughly before you make the appointment for the visa application.

Please make an appointment in this category only if you plan to stay in Germany for more than 90 days!

If you want to apply for visa for more than one person, please book an appointment for each applicant. Only one application will be accepted at each appointment.

When booking your appointment please keep in mind that applications should be handed in timely before the intended travel date! From the day you present your application completely (!) it may take up to 12 weeks until your visa can be issued. In exceptional cases proceedings may take longer than that. Applications will be accepted 6 months before the intended travel date at the earliest.

If you are unable to keep an appointment you have booked please cancel this appointment immediately.

If you do not receive a confirmation of your appointment booking please also check your e-mail's SPAM folder.

Please bring a printout of your appointment confirmation as proof with you.
