In order to apply for a visa you need an appointment, which you can book in this section. Appointments are free of charge and can also be booked by third parties. However, at the booked appointment your personal appearance at the Embassy is required in order to submit your application.
Please note that visa appointments are offered only for the period of the following four weeks. If all appointments are already booked out please check again the next day. New appointments are made available every working day.

For passport and ID card matters you need an appointment, which you can book in this section. This includes applying for new passports and ID cards, extending children's passports and changes of ID cards.

For certifications and authentications you need an appointment, which you can book in this section. The appointment booking is free of charge and can also be made by third parties.
Please note that two different categories are displayed on the following page:
- Certification of photocopies / other certificates
This includes, for example, certifications that a photocopy corresponds with the original / certifications of border crossings /l ife certificates for occupational pensions /police certificates of good conduct - Authentication of signatures
This includes documents on which it has to be confirmed that the signature on the document was made by you in person, e.g. on a power of attorney / declaration of approval /renouncement of succession
