To apply for a visa to Germany and the Schengen States you are required to book an appointment.
The online appointment system enables the Consulate General to provide an orderly and efficient service to its customers at all time. You can make an appointment at your convenience and access the visa section of the German Consulate General at the date without any undue delay. You are required to submit your complete application in person to the German Consulate General.
Before scheduling an appointment we recommend to carefully read the information on how to apply for a visa. You will find this information as well as the necessary application forms on our website (German & Chinese only) www.china.diplo.de.
Please note that due to high demand an appointment may not be available at the date of your convenience. Unfortunately, waiting time for an appointment can be several weeks during high season (usually between May and October) and before holidays. To start your travel on time please apply for a visa as early as possible.

Certain visa applications for employment (e.g. for the EU Blue Card, for skilled workers and for the opportunity card) can now be submitted online in the new Auslandsportal. Required evidence or supporting documents can be attached as pdf documents. A visit to the visa office is then only necessary to submit biometric data (fingerprints and photo) and to pay the fee. |

旺季申请人数较多，有可能发生您希望获得的面谈时间已被预订的情况，或是您需要提前很长时间进行预约。根据经验，旺季为每年的五月到十月；公众假期前也可能预约紧张。为保证您能够如期出行，请尽早提交申请：最早在计划出行时间之前三个月可以提交签证申请。

Consular services such as the authentication of copies, signatures (e.g. on the application for a police certificate of good conduct), as well as matters relating to marriage and naming law (list not exhaustive) may be delivered only by appointment.
Please refer to the website of the German diplomatic missions in China (www.china.diplo.de) for further information about the type of service that you requested and/or a list of documents you are required to provide to the Legal and Consular Section in order to avail of the requested services.
If you require a certification of signature in commercial or real estate matters, email visa@cheng.diplo.de with details on your specific case and on services that you require prior to booking an appointment. Enclose a scan copy of the documents which you need to sign (contract, power of attorney, declaration of approval, extract from the commercial register, etc.) to facilitate matters. Thus, you may avoid having to consult a Consular Officer several times in the same matter.

如果您希望总领事馆为商业或房地产性质的法律交易对您的签名进行公证，请提前将相关文件（合同、授权书、批准声明、商业登记册摘录等）发送至visa@cheng.diplo.de。法律和领事事务处在对文件进行初步审查后会与您联系，安排预约。这样您可以避免为同一件事多次前来总领事馆。
