Welcome to the online appointment system of the German Embassy Dhaka!
In order to apply for a visa for Germany you need an appointment.
Before booking an appointment online, please carefully read the information concerning visa applications on the Embassy's website www.dhaka.diplo.de.
Please note that incomplete applications cannot be accepted: Your application will be rejected free of charge. A new appointment will be necessary.
Schengen Visa applications can only be handed at the visa application center, and you will be required to book an appointment with VFS Global.
Visa applications, including those for family reunions, can only be filed with the German mission in the country in which the applicant resides. In case he/she resides in Syria, the application must be filed with one of the missions in neighboring countries (i.e. Lebanon, Turkey, Jordan etc). In case an individual travels to Bangladesh for the purpose of applying for a visa, this application will be refused right away, in line with German legislation. Please note that Syrian nationals without a valid visa in their passport are currently not allowed entry into Bangladesh. When arriving at a Bangladeshi border, e.g. the airport in Dhaka, they are detained and deported the same day.
You can only book one appointment per person.
Please only book an appointment if you are certain that you can really observe it. If you cannot keep a previously booked appointment, you are kindly asked to cancel it. This will help us to reduce waiting periods.Depending on seasonal demand, the desired appointment date may be booked already.
Booking an appointment can be done fast and conveniently by yourself through internet. This service is offered free of any charge.
Please note that improper use of the booking system will lead to the cancellation of your appointment and to the blacklisting of the used email address.
You can only arrange appointments through internet. Booking via phone or email is not possible anymore.
If desired, an appointment can also be booked by a trusted third party.
Upon successful booking of an appointment you will receive a computer generated confirmation mail.
