Here you book an appointment if you
- want to apply for a German birth certificate if your child was born outside of Germany and at least one parent is a German citizen
or
- if you want to apply for a German marriage certificate if you married outside of Germany and at least one of the spouses is a German citizen.

Appointments to apply for a German passport or German ID card.
To retrieve your already ordered Passports and identity card you do not need an appointment. Please come to the Embassy weekdays from 11 until 12.00 after having been notified by us.
Welcome to the visa application booking system for the German Embassy in Doha.
Book an appointment here to apply for a national visa to take up residence in Germany.
IMPORTANT: National visas in the following categories can only be applied for online via the foreign visa portal (Homepage - Consular Services Portal):
- Employment as a skilled worker
- Opportunity Card/Qualification Analysis
- Family Reunification
- Taking up a course of study, including a preparatory language course or preparatory college
- Taking up vocational training, including a preparatory language course
Following the successful preliminary review of your application, you will receive a separate appointment link for submitting your biometric data. For visas for study purposes, the biometric data is submitted to VFS Global. For visas for other purposes mentioned, the biometric data is submitted to the Embassy.
Applications for Schengen visa are only received at the Embassy's Visa Application Center operated by VFS Global (see here).
Before you book an appointment to apply for a national visa, inform yourself on our internet page (Long-term stays (more than 90 days, national visa) - Federal Foreign Office) about the rerquirements and the necessary documents for the application. Only complete applications will be accepted.
In order to avoid waiting times for our customers, please book only one appointment per applicant. Please note that the German Embassy will delete all your appointments, in case you book more than one appointment and that in this case we will not accept your application! Please note that if there are no Visa bookings available at the Embassy, it means we are fully booked. No earlier bookings are possible in this situation.
