On the following pages you can register on the waiting list for an appointment for a long-term visa application. This includes all stays exceeding 90 days, e.g. for the following purposes:
- family reunion to spouses, children and other family members
- study
- language courses with a duration of stay of 90 days or longer
- employment
- re-entry
- other purposes with a duration of stay of 90 days or longer
Please do not send in any documents supporting your application unless prompted to do so. Documents sent in without having been requested will be deleted / destroyed.
Please note that the visa section does not have the authority to issue humanitarian visas. Applications for humanitarian visas are not possible.

Application in Islamabad
In order to apply for a visa for the Schengen states you need an appointment.
Before booking an appointment online, please read the information concerning visa applications on the Embassy's website carefully. Please note that incomplete applications cannot be processed: Your application will be given back to you in order to complete. This is free of charge. A new appointment will be necessary after you completed your application. If you insist on handing in your application it will most likely be rejected.
All the required information for the booking process must be entered according to your passport and in latin letters. You have to enter a valid email address. You will receive a reservation confirmation by email.
On the day of your appointment, the application can generally only be submitted in person.
