https://www.bundespolizei.de/Web/DE/04Aktuelles/01Meldungen/2020/03/200317_faq.html

All appointments are free of charge.

There is no need to involve third-party agencies to register in the appointment system. You will not get a special appointment by using an agency. The German Embassy doesn’t cooperate with agencies.

Please take into consideration that by registering to the appointment list through an agency, your own email address may not be indicated during registration. As a result, you may not be able to control your registration, even if your name will be indicated on the form, as the automatic booking system would send the notifications to the agency’s email address. You may be unable to find out whether the appointment has actually been booked for you or whether the appointment has been cancelled on your request, depending on the agency’s willingness to cooperate with you.

If you would not attend your appointment because you didn’t have access to the agency’s email address, this will not entitle you to a special appointment. The German Embassy in Ukraine urges you to not hand over control of your booking.

You would not benefit from buying the visa appointment from third-party appointment dealers or agencies, it would only lose you money.

The Embassy will notify you of an appointment approximately 2 weeks prior. In the meanwhile, prepare your documents for the interview and take advantage of the huge selection of information on visa procedures on our website. Ensure that during your interview you have all necessary documents listed in the relevant guidelines (Merkblätter).

It is not possible to change the appointment. If you cannot attend your appointment you should cancel it and register again in the booking system. Changing the appointment date and time is not possible.

To prevent abuse of the appointments system, the German Embassy reserves the right to exclude applicants who did not show up for their appointment from making further bookings.
