Visa Applications

Information on the Visa Procedure can be found here

Incomplete applications cannot be accepted: the application will be returned at no cost and a new appointment has to be scheduled.

Depending on seasonal  demand appointments may be fully booked quickly and have to be scheduled far in advance. Experience shows that this occurs in the months of May until September and before national holidays.

The German Embassy does not provide any emergency appointments nor expedited services.
Appointments have to be booked via this website in the correct category.
Email enquiries regarding emergency/extra appointments will not be answered.

Please note that the Emassy does not legalise Jamaican documents anymore. Since Jamaica has joined the Hague Apostille Convention, Jamaican documents are now accepted with an Apostille stamp in Germany. The Jamaican Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade is responsible in administering the Apostille stamp.

In more complicated cases and if you have questions concerning nationality, name or inheritance law, please contact us via email (info@kingston.diplo.de).
