due to the still ongoing pandemic, application appointments cannot be offered to the same extent as pre-Covid-19.

To book appointments to apply for German passports or IDs or to obtain certified signatures or copies, please go to the category "Visa/Konsulat - Termin buchen" on the website in German or follow this link: https://nairobi.diplo.de/ke-de/service/rk-termin/1510498

Appointments to apply for visa can be booked in the categories national visa / long term stay Family Reunion and Studies and Employment (if you have a Letter of Admission or Contract of Employment respectively). To book, please click on "continue" down the page under the heading "National visa during Covid-19 Pandemic". No applications can be made for Au Pair, Voluntary Service and participation in language course and bookings for these applications will be canceled.

Due to technical issues, it might be possible to book appointments in categories for which no applications can currently be accepted. These bookings will be canceled by the Embassy.

National visa during Covid-19 Pandemic

Applications for visa for long-term stay for:

- Students

- Employment (if you already have an employment contract; no bookings for Au Pair, Voluntary Service, Job Seeker)

- Spouses of Germans and residents in Germany (not of refugees or people with protective status)

- Children of residents in Germany (not of refugees or people with protective status)

- Parents of minor, single German citizens
