Welcome to the German Embassy Nicosia!

Here you can make appointments for the application for passports and ID-cards at the German Embassy in Nicosia. If you want to apply for both at the same time, you only need to make one appointment.

You can choose from the available dates and you will also find links to important information for your application. Please understand that the dates shown here are the only ones available and that further (earlier) dates cannot be made available.

It is no longer possible to make an appointment by e-mail, only in emergencies (death, serious illness, etc.) please contact the embassy at rk@niko.diplo.de.

Please note that the processing time for a passport or ID-card is approximately six weeks (since the documents are produced in Germany), so please make an appointment well in advance.

If this is the first application for a passport at the Embassy of Nicosia (including children), or the first application after marriage, please send an email to the embassy at rk@niko.diplo.de . Since in this case separate applications often have to be made, you will either get your own appointment or, after checking, you will be referred back to the appointment here. This is to avoid having to come to the embassy several times because you are missing documents.

You can choose among the available appointments and also find links to important information for your application. Please note that there are no further appointments than those shown in the system. The Embassy cannot provide other, more or earlier appointments.

Please be aware that the processing time for a visa application in our office in North-Nicosia is four weeks, therefore please arrange your appointment timely. The processing time for applications at our Embassy directly is two weeks, for long-term visas about three months. Further information you will find at

Please note that our office in North Nicosia only accepts applications for short-term visas. Please contact our Embassy or consulates in Turkey if you want to apply for a long-term stay in Germany and cannot cross the demarcation line.

 Federal Almanya Büyükelçiliği’ne Hoşgeldiniz!

Bu internet sitesi üzerinden Lefkoşa’daki Almanya Büyükelçiliği’nde, veya Güney’e geçememeniz halinde Kuzey Lefkoşa’da bulunan ofisimizde gerçekleştirilen vize başvurularınız için randevunuzu oluşturabilirsiniz.

Müsait olan randevular arasından seçim yapabilir, başvurunuz ile ilgili önemli bilgilere ulaşabilirsiniz. Sistem haricinde randevu verilmediğini hatırlatmak isteriz. E-posta yoluyla randevu almak mümkün değildir. Acil durumlarda (ölüm, ciddi hastalık vb.), Büyükelçilik ile iletişime geçiniz.

Kuzey Lefkoşa’da bulunan Vize Başvuru Ofisimizden yapılan vize başvuruları için değerlendirilme süresi dört haftadır. Bu yüzden randevunuzu zamanında alınız. Büyükelçilikte yapılan vize başvurularının değerlendirilme süresi iki hafta, uzun süreli vize başvurularının değerlendirilme süresi üç aydır.
