Since Monday 19 January 2026, all Schengen Visa applications are exclusively handled by our service provider TLS Contact.
TLS Contact is the regional partner of the Federal Foreign Office and is already successfully operating in many African countries.
Thanks to this new arrangement, waiting times will be reduced and you can book your appointment easier and quicker than before. It makes it more convenient for you to get your Schengen visa for your travel to Germany and Europe. Visa application forms and accompanying documents need to be submitted at the TLS Contact German Visa Application Centre, which is centrally located at Maerua Mall (office tower) and accessible for people with physical challenges.
Biometric data collection as well as the delivery of the passport will also take place at the TLS Contact German Visa Application Centre.
The decision to issue or not issue a visa lies as before solely within the responsibility of the German Embassy in Windhoek.
The Embassy continues to represent besides Germany the following six European states: Belgium, Hungary, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
What does this mean in practical terms?
1. Bookings for appointments for Schengen visa applications can be made only through the TLS Contact website for Namibia: TLS Contact
2. The TLS Contact German Visa Application Centre operates at Maerua Mall (Regus Office Tower, Office Hours: Mon-Fri 08:30 -15:30)

You can choose a time slot convenient for you and will receive more information about the documents you need to submit during your visit at the TLS Contact German Visa Application Centre.
