Welcome to the appointment system of the German Embassy Gaborone!
To apply for a visa for Germany and the Schengen states you need an appointment.
Through the appointment system, the embassy is able to ensure a regular and orderly public traffic throughout. This gives you the advantage of being able to book an appointment that suits you, and you have a fixed date at the embassy without long waiting times.
Before booking the appointment, we kindly ask you to read the information about the visa procedure carefully. You will find this information on the Embassy website www.gaborone.diplo.de
Incomplete applications cannot be accepted: the application will be rejected free of charge and a new date has to be agreed.
Please book only one appointment (not several) for yourself and only if you expect to be able to attend. If you cannot attend your appointment, please cancel it. This will help us with the scheduling, so that we can offer all customers the most timely possible dates.
In order to be able to start your journey on time, you best apply for your visa early: the submission of visa applications is possible up to three months before the start of the journey.
The appointment booking can be done here easily and quickly. All you need is internet access, e.g. at home, at work, with friends, or in an internet cafe. The appointment booking is free. However, if you wish, a trusted person (such as your host, business partner in Germany, etc.) is welcome to do it for you. However, at the appointed time you have to come to the Embassy in person.
