Please make an appointment in this category only if you need a national visa for family reunion to take residence in Germany.

 

If you plan to stay less than 90 days please make an appointment in the „Schengen visa“ category.

 

 

 

Prior to booking the appointment please read the information about the visa process carefully. You can find this with a list of requirements and the application form on our website.

 

Please fill in the application form completely and bring all relevant documents.

Please note that for family reunion visa marriage and birth certificates from Zimbabwe have to be legalised by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Zimbabwe and the German Embassy Harare before you apply for the visa!

 

Only complete applications will be accepted.

 

 

 

Depending on demand it is possible that all time slots are already booked or that they have to be booked long in advance. In order for you to begin your journey as scheduled, please apply for your visa well in advance: visa applications may be filed up to six months prior to your travel date.

 

Booking your appointment is quick, easy and free of charge. Please come in person to the visa section. Children should be accompanied by the legal guardians or, if one of the legal guardians cannot come to the Embassy, the person accompanying the child should bring an affidavit. 

 

Each applicant needs his/her own booking for an appointment (example: 1 person = 1 appointment / 3 persons = 3 appointments / parents and 2 children = 4 appointments

 

 

 

Important:

 

• Please book only 1 appointment per person providing the correct passport number
• Entry to the Embassy is permitted 15 minutes prior to your booking with your passport in order to check the correct passport number
• If you are late or without the passport we will not be able to attend to you – we are asking for your understanding in the interest of all applicants
• If you do not receive a confirmation of your appointment booking please also check your emails junk folder

 

 

 

No appointment is necessary for the pick-up of your passport after application.
